A mission of the International Monetary Fund /IMF/ will continue its work in Minsk, BelTA learnt from the IMF Office in Belarus. The IMF mission arrived in Belarus to negotiate the loan terms with the Belarusian authorities.
Five members of “Malady Front” detained on November 7 have been sentenced to three days of detention today. All of them were returned guilty of violation of the terms of organization of mass actions.
A criminal case against opposition activist Alyaksandr Barazenka has been sent to the court of the Tsentralny district in Minsk, lawyer Pavel Sapelka told Euroradio. The youth is expected to stand trial over his role in a street protest early this year. He failed to appear in court in May when other protesters were tried and given suspended sentences or fines.
